Looking for somewhere to spend some relaxing, quality time with your family this summer? Our family cottage will be the perfect place for you to do just that. We’re located on Lake Huron, just south of the beautiful village of Bayfield, a charming community which is located between Grand Bend and Goderich. It’s only a 1½ hour drive from Kitchener-Waterloo.
Our cottage, which is very dear to us, is on a secluded lot, full of mature trees, at the end of a quiet road. You can see from the photos that the view of Lake Huron is panoramic, both from inside the cottage and grassy area at the top of the bank.
You’ll never forget the magnificent sunsets. Just be sure to bring your camera. |
Waterfront: |
We have 120 feet of frontage on Lake Huron, which is up to twice the normal frontage for the area. This is in the form of a sand filled seawall, 120 feet long by 15 feet deep with some shade. Below the wall, the beach is sandy with some pebbles. The water is shallow, gradually sloping to a completely sand bottom. No drop-off and no weeds. |
