The Town of Goderich is famous for being the "Prettiest Town in Canada". Goderich has the malls and the "fast-food joints", but still retains much of its character. Stylish Victorian mansions are strung along the lakeside bluffs.

Come and share in the warmth of the Christmas Festival of Lights in the downtown square, or Goderich's Winter Festival, or the Celtic Festival held each year.
The three marinas in Goderich offer every service a boater could want. They are close to restaurants, shopping, beaches, golfing, etc. Full or half-day fishing charters offer Salmon and Rainbow fishing in Lake Huron off the Port of Goderich.
There are countless hiking trails, nature tours, and cycling routes available in the area. Or take an Air Tour of the area to see all of the sights.
For the golfer in your group, there are several golf courses to choose from, including:
- Goderich Sunset Golf Club;
- Maitland Country Club;
- Woodlands Links;
- Bluewater Golf Course; or
- Wingham Golf Club.
Huron County is famous for its miles of sandy Lake Huron shoreline. At the Main Beach in Goderich, St. Christopher's Beach, or Rotary Cove, you can spend a day catching some rays, boating, swimming, windsurfing, water-skiing or jet-skiing. Take a Tug Boat Ride and tour the Goderich Marina and Harbour. At the end of the day, witness one of Huron County's world-famous sunsets.
Kids love the rough limestone walls and iron bars of the 1840's county "Goal", and the excellent local museum which features not one, but two 2-headed calves. The Marine Museum at the Goderich Harbour is dedicated to those who made their living on Lake Huron. The Sky Harbour Gallery traces the history of the Goderich Airport. Take a stroll along the Marine Heritage Walkway and immerse yourself in the vivid memories of yesteryear.
Laithwaite Apple Park features many sculptures fashioned from cement, metal, fieldstone and other materials. The Goderich Little Theatre at the Livery features amateur theatre groups presenting high caliber performances.
In winter, snowmobilers will find an incredible network of professionally groomed trails in the area. There are a vast number of Cross Country Skiing opportunities with well cleared and pruned trails that are well used. The hunter in your group can take advantage of a host of seasonal hunting opportunities at the Hullett Wildlife Area near Clinton, or the Hay Swamp.
